The Kitchen Helper
My little kitchen helper standing in the Kitchen Helper.

It lets Calvin get up to counter-height so he can wash his hands in the sink, help cook, etc. It adjusts in height so we can lower it as he gets taller. And it folds up pretty narrow, or it will when we lower the platform to the next-lowest height, which won't be too long from now. Calvin likes to push it around so he can get to the sink or a countertop, but he still needs a little help climbing in and out of it.

Teeth-brushing
Being the grandson of a dentist, Calvin knows the importance of good oral hygiene.
He brushes his teeth morning...
...and night (here, after a bath wearing his monster towel).
I'm pretty sure one of these days he'll spend less time gnawing on the toothbrush and actually get some teeth scrubbed. We're working on it.

The neighborhood park
Our new neighborhood has a nice little park just down a few streets. Calvin LOVED the swing the day he and I went a couple of weeks ago when I got these pictures. That and the slides. And the see saw...

Pay no attention to the too-small hat on his head. Kiddos grow fast! (And I'm stalling until next spring to buy him another sun hat.)

Calvin is all about climbing these days. Rumor has it he has officially entered the climb-up-the-slide-the-wrong-way club, but I wasn't there to witness it. On this particular day, slides were the normal one-way trip. Here, he is on his way back over to the slide to ride down again.
