Calvin had his first of many graduations in his life last Friday. Seems kind of silly to graduate from pre-k, but since graduation marks the end of one phase in life (in this case private, optional education) and the start of another (public, compulsory education), maybe it is due. Regardless, it was adorable seeing him there with his classmates, everyone excited for the day and for the accumulation of parents in their tiny classroom. Calvin, though, had mixed emotions. He was excited but also pretty sad about not going to school anymore - he will miss his friends, teachers, and routine.
